DigzPrefab by NYUDesigns is a small custom prefab modular home design and build firm located in Alameda, California. DigzPrefab offers custom prefab homes that are assembled at the building site from custom factory built modules.
The company was founded and currently run by architect and general contractor Paul J. Nyulassie. Paul’s more than 25 years of construction experience in the Bay Area of California led him to pivot from traditional on site stick built homes to his current practice of site assembled, factory built modules. Compared to traditional home construction, Paul’s modular builds have greatly improved project timelines, build quality and cost transparency and budget predictability.
Each project is custom for each customer and the entire process is managed start to finish by DigzPrefab. DigzPrefab owns and operates it’s own build factory and employs it’s own team of contractors, allowing for improved control of timelines, budget and quality.
Paul also has years of residential construction permitting and project cost experience in the Bay Area of California. All DigzPrefab custom home projects undergo cost feasibility study and loan to valve financing estimates for each project prior to proceeding. DigzPrefab has recently completed projects in Mill Valley, Truckee and Santa Cruz, California.
